Leecy BarnettOriginally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Leecy Barnett has lived in Boynton Beach, Florida, for more than 30 years. Education has always been important to Leecy, who has a BA in history from Duke University, an MA in church history from Trinity Evangelial Divinity School, and an MA in Library Science from the University of South Florida. Although she has never married nor had children, Leecy considers being a part of God's forever family for 50+ years a wonderful adventure. Leecy's first career was in Christian ministry, focusing on college students from America as well as students and scholars from China. After she moved to Florida, Leecy began a second career as a librarian. Now retired, she never stopped her involvement in ministry, teaching the Bible, and writing for her church. Leecy writes a column for Women World Leaders' Voice of Truth magazine, "Power Points: God at Work through Women Leaders Yesterday and Today." She is also the author of two books: Everything New (a Bible study for new believers) and Ten Life Lessons Worth Learning Over and Over Again.
