Lee VaronLee Varon is a social worker in the boston area. She was born in Chicago and grew up in Illinois. As a child, many of her summers were spent with her maternal grandmother in Petersburg, Virginia. In addition to poetry, Varon also writes prose and wonthe 2015 Briar Cliff Review Fiction Award. Her poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and has been published in various literary journals, including Atlanta Review, Ibbetson Street, Euphony, Tampa Review, Inscape, Westview, The Somerville Times, Wilderness House Literary Review, Muddy River Poetry Review, and Oddball Magazine.
