Laverl Harry WilhelmDr. LaVerl H. Wilhelm earned his Ph.D. at Brigham Young University in 1978. His dissertation was a search for the best way to establish a relationship with a child. What resulted became known as Special Time and has become a legacy for his family. Ths program first became used by Dr. Wilhelm and his wife Linda with their nine children. His son Vaughn was so touched by the memories and bonds he had with his parents because of Special Time, he wanted to pass the tradition on to his children.
