Laurie Elizabeth LambertBorn and raised in Massachusetts, Laurie Elizabeth Lambert worked as a research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry for ten years after earning her doctorate in immunology. In 1994, Laurie and her husband Chris became parents of triplets, and shrtly Laurie retired from science to be a Mom and work as a substitute teacher. When her children started looking at colleges, she began to pursue an interest in writing. Currently, Laurie is a writer and facilitator at Women Writing for (a) Change in Cincinnati, Ohio. Laurie's poems have been published in Labyrinth Pathways, Annapurna, Clarify, Common Threads, The Sycamore, and For a Better World.
