Laurent de RuytLaurent De Ruyt is a Humanitarian Aid worker who has spent the last ten years living abroad. From 2017 to 2019, he was Head of Mission for an International NGO, based in Pyongyang, DPRK. Before this, Laurent De Ruyt worked from 2011 to 2016 for the Blgium Red Cross, first as a delegate in the Democratic Republic of Congo, then as Country Representative in Burundi. In 2010, he was employed as diplomatic attaché for the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the United Nations in New York. In 2009, he worked as Project Assistant for the National Democratic Institute in Washington DC. Laurent has a MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, a DES in International Law and a Licence in Political Science from the Université Libre the Bruxelles.
