Lauren WidenerLauren is a former elementary school teacher turned fun homeschool mom. She resides in Texas with her husband David, four creative daughters, and their loyal dog Chloe. They enjoy listening to music, traveling, cooking, and reading together. With a dgree from Louisiana State University in Elementary Education with a focus on art and literature, her passions and expertise lie in reading instruction, child development, and photography. In her years as an educator, she has studied child development, curriculum instruction, and teaching methods in an effort to better teach her children and mentor new home school parents. She considers herself an avid observer of the family unit and is a firm believer in the use of literature to shape the mind and offer coping strategies to children. Before deciding to write a book, she operated a photography business in which she specialized in child and family portraits. Lauren never dreamed of being an author but was inspired by her daughter, Hannah, to collaborate on a book during the COVID19 Pandemic.
