Lauren J BallI was born in a very small town in south-western Colorado (Redmesa) 17 December 1927. Redmesa is basically a farming and ranching community and a good place to raise children and crops, I joined the United States Army in December 1945 where I spent te next 24 years and eight months. I served in Germany, Korea, Alaska, Vietnam and in many Army Forts throughout the United States, in various capacities; Administration, communications and advanced missile electronics, repair, advancing from enlisted status to Chief Warrant Officer, retiring August 30th, 1970. I then attended Palmer School of Chiropractic. After my schooling, I spent the next 39 years, practicing my profession mostly in Trinidad Colorado, until I turned 81. In the last ten years of Chiropractic Practice I became interested in writing and had my first book published, (A WALK WITH JOHN) in 2008. I met and married my lovely Wife, Wilba Geraldine Holland in 1958, while stationed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. She passed away from advanced Alzheimer's Disease in April 2020, this past Easter after having spent 62 wonderful years together. My writing has produced HYPNOTHERAPY, ASSERTIONS AND AFFIRMATIONS FOR CHRISTIANS. OUR WAR WITH SATAN, and a small book of poetry called REMEMBERING VIETNAM, AND OTHER THINGS. While in practice I advanced my knowledge by taking courses in Hypnotherapy, using it to help my patience cope with emotional problems.
