Lauren E AndersonFollowing her graduation from Princeton University, where she studied ecology and evolutionary biology, Lauren E. Anderson worked as a high-tech college recruiter on and off for five years to finance her further education and adventures at the nexus f conservation and development. She lived, studied and worked in Costa Rica, Mauritius and Rodrigues. Lauren earned her master's degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and launched into a career with the United Nations. Under the United Nations family of organizations, she has supported the sustainable development of island countries and global efforts to fight Ebola and COVID-19. Lauren also serves as an eco-writer and editorial consultant for the International Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD) and an adjunct professor in the Africana Studies Program of Rowan University.
