Laura T PizziDr. Laura Pizzi is Associate Director of Research in the Department of Health Policy at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Pizzi received a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Rutgers University College of Pharmacy inNew Jersey, and was a fellow in pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She obtained a Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology and Quantitative Methods from the New Jersey School of Public Health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Pizzi frequently writes and presents on topics related to economic evaluation in health care, and instructs the graduate course in economic evaluation at the Jefferson College of Graduate Studies. Dr. Pizzi's research interests are in the areas of economic evaluation, medication usage and policy, prescribing informatics, and health-related productivity.
