Laura RushingLaura makes her home in the southwest, where she began writing Texas Rain at just 19 years old. After a career in nursing, as well as working as a bartender, nail technician, in the oil field and on the railroad, she is now retired in New Meico. She raised three children, who all lead busy careers as well, and she is now concentrating on writing.
