Laura DodsonLaura Dodson is a debut children's author who works as a primary school teacher in Lancashire. She first thought of the idea whilst teaching about The Stone Age in a year three class and decided to visit the Lascaux Caves in France, which the story i loosely based on.
After visiting the caves, researching and talking to experts, she felt it was an opportunity to bring the idea to a British audience and focus the discovery in the North of England.
