Lau Kia KianDr. Lau Kia Kian is a postdoctoral researcher working on research of nanomaterials. He has written up numerous papers related to extraction of nanocellulose from plant biomass and also a couple of book chapters in biopolymer fields. Currently, he is lso working on other nanomaterials such as graphene as well as studying their application usage in various areas. He is also exploring other potential bio-components from plant materials, which could be used in composite reinforcement fields. He is interested in the area of Polymer Science incorporating Nano materials. He has almost 4 years of experience in this field. His research areas include fabrication of polymeric membrane modified with incorporation of nanofillers for water treatment, and also the investigation on resin material derived from bio-origin.
