Larry WoiwodeLarry Woiwode (1941-2022) was an award-winning writer whose honors included the William Faulkner Foundation Award for Best First Novel (What I'm Going to Do, I Think), the John Dos Passos Prize, and two awards from the American Academy f Arts and Letters. A Guggenheim Fellow and a finalist for both the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award, Woiwode was also Poet Laureate of North Dakota since 1995.
