After years teaching at High Point Central High School and Western Piedmont Community College in North Carolina, Clark was given a series of prominent positions at WPCC: chai of the Department of Social Studies, Director of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Division, Director of Planning and Development, and finally Dean of Planning and Research. Recently, he founded the Irish Creek Associates, a management consultant firm for education, public agencies non-profits to assess planning systems and program evaluation, staff development, fund-raising and marketing in 19 organizations throughout North Carolina and Florida.
