Larry Grubb
Rev. Larry Grubb is a retired United Methodist minister and pastoral counselor who grew up in the Texas Panhandle and western Oklahoma. After serving 22 years as pastor of local churches in Oklahoma and Chicago from 1951-1973, Larry became Ministe of Counseling at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth in 1973, where he served full-time until his retirement in 1998. He remained on staff there in a part-time capacity for the next two decades.
Backdropped by his experiences and a 40-year career of putting his education, training, and knowledge into practice, Wilderness Wonderings taps into Larry's ever-deepening curiosity and desire to find the unique inner stillness that allows us to connect with the Source of our being. Within the pages of this book readers will find a thoughtful coalescence of this lifetime of insights, bubbling forth with a new sense of purpose.
About creating Wilderness Wonderings, Larry's magnum opus of his life's learnings, questions, and observations, Larry simply says, "I enjoy reading and learning new ways to serve people--and find ways to squeeze every ounce of joy out of the years I have left to live."
Larry is 91 years old and lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
