Larry FrancellLarry Francell had a forty-year career in the museum profession both as a museum director and consultant. He retired as Director of the Museum of the Big Bend at Sul Ross State University leading the effort to restore and create new exhibits for the riginal Texas Centennial Building. He served as Jeff Davis County Commissioner, Precinct One for 12 years, was the Jeff Davis County Emergency Management Coordinator and Grants Coordinator and served for three months as Jeff Davis County Judge. He is author of Fort Lancaster: Texas Frontier Sentinel and Fort Davis an Arcadia Publishing Images of America series. He wrote the Introduction for Marfa Flights: Aerial Views of Big Bend Country by Paul Chaplo.
