Lamont MackayWhile teaching high school in Surrey, British Columbia, Lamont was bitten by two life-altering bugs--food and travel. She left her job behind and joined forces with Phyllis Hinz, and after initially working together in a country hotel kitchen, they tavelled Europe in a VW van, became restaurateurs, and opened their own catering company. Eventually, Lamont and Phyllis sold their businesses, along with everything they owned, and set off to travel North America in a motorhome. Lamont sees adventure around every corner whether panning for gold in the Yukon or tasting a new dish in Alabama. With Phyllis, she has appeared on RVTV and worked as an official Kitchen Expert for Home Hardware.
