Lakeesha Walrond

Rev. LaKeesha Walrond is president of New York Theological Seminary and preaching pastor at First Corinthian Baptist Church (FCBC) in New York City. She is a consummate change agent, educator, visionary leader, and sought-after spaker for national and international audiences. A native Texan, she earned her undergraduate degree from Spelman College, two master's degrees and a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a master of divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York. She is a faithful friend, devoted wife, compassionate mother, and proud grandmother.
