L Edward TooleL. Edward Toole was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has lived in various places throughout Canada before returning to live in the city of his birth. He has been writing for his own amusement since he was 15 or so, often making little short-stories abot whatever random idea popped into his head. His first novel, Memoirs of a Tyrant, having much the same beginning, being written in a notebook while he rode the bus to and from his job at a call center. When writing he tries to bring the experiences he has had to life including insights garnered from his studies as he earned a degree in Psychology and interactions with people dealing with addictions.
