Krystal has been a lifelong poet and began writing poems in first grade, when she was old enough to write down the words she was thinking about Krystal is a wife and mother of two daughters, who resides near Baton Rouge. Most of her extended family lives within pasture's distance, and she credits living so close to her family as a major inspiration for her poetry over the years.
