Kristy WalkerKristy P. Walker is a Lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences, at the University of Iowa, Tippie College of Business. She has also served as Adjunct Associate Professor for the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa and the Commnity Chief Information Officer for the University of Iowa Health Venture, a nonprofit corporation organized and operated to support the clinical, research, and academic missions of UI Health Care. She received her bachelor's degree in computer science and an MBA from the University of Iowa. She has publications with the Journal of American Medical Record Association and proceedings from the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). She has served on the State of Iowa Electronic Health Information Advisory Council and as the Advocacy Chair and President Elect on the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Iowa Chapter Board.
