Kristina RickettsKristina G. Ricketts was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. Upon graduating from high school, she pursued and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. Continuing in te academic line, she moved to Gainesville, Florida and received a Master's degree in 2003, and a Ph.D. in 2005- both from the University of Florida, within the field of agricultural leadership, collaborative leadership and youth leadership development.
