Kripal SinghKripal has been working in the area of restoration ecology, bioenergy research and biodiversity conservation since last 15 years at different research and academic organizations in India. He did his Ph.D. from University of Lucknow and CSIR-National otanical Research institute, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has started his postdoc career with UGC-DS Kothari Fellowship at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. He has been awarded with various fellowships including CSIR-Nehru Postdoctoral Fellowship and CSIR-Pools Scientist scheme and research awards from academic and non-academic organizations in India. He has published 43 papers in various peer reviewed international journals. He is applying theories of biodiversity and ecosystem functioning for developing perennial grass based diverse and novel cropping systems for biomass production on marginal lands.
