Kouwenhoven BillBill Kouwenhoven, an independent curator and photography critic, is author of the introductions to more than 50 artists' monographs, as well as contributor to magazines including Afterimage, Aperture, British Journal of Photogaphy, European Photography, FOAM, Photonews and Prefix. From 1996 to 2001 he was editor of San Francisco-based Photo Metro; from 2008 to 2014 he was international editor of Hotshoe Magazine of London.
