Kimberly KockenKIMBERLY KOCKEN is a high school English teacher turned writer. As an Indigenous youth, she dabbled primarily in poetry, but was inspired to write her first novel, a historical ghost story, after buying a property in Alberta's Crowsnest Pass. She hols bachelor's degrees in psychology and education from the University of Lethbridge, as well as a master's degree in education.

Kimberly divides her time between Lethbridge, Alberta, and her home in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. She lives with her husband Tom and their beloved dogs.
