Kimberley Utermohlen ScottKim Utermohlen Scott is a former Spanish teacher who fell in love with all languages at an early age. Following her brother's interest in stamp collecting, Kim first began to notice how countries used different words than our English ones on their stmps. How exotic! And so began a life-long obsession with languages and travel. The mother of 3 daughters, 2 sons and a bonus son from Guatemala, Kim lives in Summerville, SC with her amazing husband, Paul, as well as all the kids and their spouses. She has two adorable grandchildren so far. The Maribel & Federico series grew out of her frustration with typical bilingual books in which the English words are printed on the same page as the Spanish - making them impossible to ignore!
