He was saved in a small church in New Castle, PA. He carried his faith throughout 34 years of miliary service and 29 years in Civil Service. He married Nancy in 1980 and has three children and seven grandchildren. He retired in 2009 and enjoys puttering around his house and riding his Honda Goldwing Trike.
