Kerry MoellerKerry Moeller has been an Education Assistant with the Durham District School Board for nine years. In that role, she's long seen the importance of children being aware of their bodies, importance of movement and creativity. She's also witnessed the alue of teaching them calming and mindfulness techniques to help deal with a variety of stresses.

Kerry has undertaken Yoga training for both children and adults, running programs that build confidence, community and connection. She is also a Reiki and Aromatouch practioner and Wedding Officiant. She has always wanted to be a writer and hopes Matilda and Her Magical Mat will spark conversations among parents, teachers, and children about the powers of not only yoga, but of inclusiveness, disabilities, and friendships.
