Keri Lynn SiegelKeri Lynn Siegel, grandniece of Hope Mac Donald (author of When Angels Appear, published in 1982) began writing midway through elementary school. Keri's family encouraged her to keep writing and her passion was born. Since Keri started writing, she eplored many outlets for this. She began with poetry and song lyrics (with no accompaniment). In the late 1980's/early 1990's, she won a poetry contest on poetry.com that she entered just for fun. She wrote for Palm Beach Atlantic University's school newspaper from the fall of 2007- the fall of 2008. She wrote for a column for an online Christian woman's magazine called The Shulamite Women's Magazine, named after the Shulamite women in the Bible. She wrote for her current church (Jesus People Proclaim International Ministries Church in Deerfield Beach, FL) before their newsletter went out of print from 2007-2015. She's also helped mentor students with their writing skills, and helped various friends with various freelance writing projects.Keri loves writing essays and research papers; and her favorite tests are short answers and essays. As an online student in the College of Adults and Undergraduates program at Colorado Christian University, she is pursuing a Creative Writing major and has a 3.6 Grade Point Average. Upon graduation, she plans to blend her freelance writing skills into a business that will help students and businesses with their writing projects while she works on a Master's degree to expand her reach. Keri specializes in Christ-centered nonfiction material filled with raw emotion, thoughtful introspection, and inspiration- all within a Biblical worldview. As a woman of faith and a woman of prayer, she believes her highest calling is to bring the truths of the ancient Biblical text into the present realities of everyday life without compromising its message. She lives to demonstrate through personal and relevant examples that The God of the Bible is eternal. This means that He exists outside of time and that there is no end to His power to change lives.
