Keri Cook

Keri CookKeri Cook is a captivating writer who has channeled her passion for the empowerment of young women into a refreshing and relatable piece of literature, The Little Blue Book. Months before her graduation from Missouri State University in 2018, she disovered a gleaming pull to mentor and empower young women from her hometown of Springfield, Missouri through a local organization, The Circle for Girls Foundation. In addition to her time spent mentoring, Keri dedicated her time substitute teaching at various schools and experiencing first hand the issues and topics that middle and high school aged students were desperately seeking to know more about. It was through her work at the foundation, as well as her time spent teaching, that Keri discovered how critical it is to encourage young women to become confident in themselves and their abilities. She quickly learned that this passion of hers was one that she wanted to propel even further. So, after graduation, she moved to Washington, D.C. where she was able to work for the Close Up Foundation, an organization who works to inform, inspire, and empower young people from across the country to become more actively engaged citizens. Through these experiences, she became inspired to share these lessons with young women everywhere. Read More Read Less
