Ken YeangKen Yeang is an architect and ecologist, best known for his signature ecoachitecture and ecomasterplans, that have a distinctive verdant hirsute aesthetic. He trained at the AA School (UK) and received a doctorate from Cambridge University. He is pricipal of Hamzah & Yeang with offices in Malaysia, the UK and China, delivering innovative ecological architecture and masterplans that go beyond conventional accreditation systems. He is the Distinguished Plym Professor at Illinois University and associate professor at several universities worldwide. He has authored several books on green architecture and received numerous awards for his ecoarchitecture including the Aga Khan Award, Prince Claus Award, Malaysian Institute of Architects Gold Medal, Malaysia's Merdeka Award.
