Ken RoadcapAuthor Ken Roadcap was born on April 28th, 1937, on his granddad's small produce farm in central Pennsylvania. At 16, he went to work on cross country pipeline construction with his stepdad, as a laborer. Ken worked for two summers, returning to schol in the fall. After graduation in 1956, he returned to the pipeline. Ken married his wife, Ginny, in 1986. They reside on the farm he purchased in 1965. He is now retired and has been raising Fallow deer since the mid 1990's. The idea for this story is a product of some of the funny antics that he has seen and enjoyed throughout the years.
