Keith EdmondsonKeith is a born and bred Bradfordian and still lives there willingly. A degree in chemistry from Leeds University opened up a career in wool research at the IWS Technical Centre in Ilkley, where he obtained a PhD. Due to the decline of wool markets i the '80s he started working as a private health and safety consultant, trading as Envirocare, assisting companies with the new COSHH regulations. The endeavour was successful and Envirocare Technical Consultancy Ltd was formed in 1994, based in Bradford. Since retiring, Keith started ticking off items from his bucket list: - Investigating putting a bit of science into art on the theme of 'UV Light as an Alternative 3rd Dimension of Art?' Large collage portrait impressions of famous Bradfordians were created entirely from British stamps. - The Sixty-Three Steppes, his first novel, was inspired by John Buchan's The Thirty-Nine Steps. A sequel, From Czechoslovakia with Love, was published in 2016. Keith is also delighted to be participating with a colleague as EDPAL in The New Longitude Prize working with Lincoln University on a project investigating transferring wool science into the field of microbiology. The project was recognised by gaining a prestigious international Discovery Award to fund further research. What's Wrong with the Right Club? is Keith's latest book in the James Brittain trilogy. It bridges the gap between the other two, showing James's introduction into becoming an undercover agent. Website: www.stuckonstamps.co.uk Twitter: @edmondson_g Read More Read Less
