Kavita DesaiDr. Kavita Desai, PharmD, has worked across the spectrum in health care: running her own cardiovascular risk factor prevention clinic and owning a multidisciplinary medical clinic with a pharmacy specializing in pain care, including fibromyalgia. Insired by her mother's early-onset Alzheimer's, Desai spent years researching and studying risk factors for women. Her work led to the creation of this book as well as inspiring her to start her own women's health company, Revivele.

In her spare time, Desai is an abstract artist and singer. In 2019, she had her first gallery showing and is currently song writing and recording her first solo album.
