Katy GreenAbout the Author . . . Katy Green is the author of My Scars, My Brave Adventure, a book inspired by her daughter's journey through numerous pediatric surgeries and medical procedures. This is Katy's first children's book. Prior to becomng an author, Katy worked as a special education teacher earning national board certification. She is a former Division 1 college athlete, a wife, and the mother to three children. As a mother and former educator, Katy knows the power that books can inspire in children, teaching important lessons, and bringing awareness to difficult topics.
