Katie HayesKatie Hayes grew up in the North Carolina Mountains reading works from poets such as Robert Service and John Prine. She studied English literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and supported herself as a watercolorist before setting down in Hillsborough, North Carolina with her family.
