Kathryn M ElveyKathryn M. Elvey is an assistant professor of Criminal Justice at Plymouth State University. She earned her BA from University of Mary Washington (Virginia), her MA from Wake Forest University (North Carolina), and her PhD at the University of Cincinati (Ohio). At Plymouth State University, she teaches Women and Crime; Society, Ethics, and the Law; and Corrections. Dr. Elvey has been appointed by the governor of New Hampshire to serve on the Women's Prison Civilian Advisory Board to help discuss policy and procedure within the prisons as well as best practices.
