Kathryn BashaarA s a small child, Kathryn Bashaar earned the nickname Suitcase Simpson, for the little suitcase of books that she carried with her everywhere. Starting at age 11, she developed her own writing by keeping a journal. All 53 years of those journals stil live in a closet in her home in Pittsburgh. Kathryn's fiction and nonfiction have been published in Civil War Times, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and the literary journals Metamorphosis and PIF.
