Kathryn AllenKathryn Allen was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and has lived there most of her life. Hiking the Arizona mountains, exploring every corner of her beloved state, is where her heart has always been. Her passion, however, doesn't stop in Arizona. She has ben to every continent except Antarctica (still on the bucket list). She worked with elephants in Thailand, taught English in Tanzania, swam with humpbacks in Tonga, hiked the Andes in Peru, and much more. She has a journalism degree from the University of Arizona and a veterinary degree from Cornell University. She has raised two children and is currently working as a small-animal veterinarian in Phoenix, where she lives with two dogs and a cat.
