Kathleen NaureckasKathleen Naureckas was born in 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, and lived in Illinois after graduating from Northwestern in 1958 with a journalism degree; she received a master's in English from the school in 1985. She worked as an editor for the Libertyvile Herald and the Chicago Tribune. She was married to Edward M. Naureckas for nearly 40 years, and had four children with him. She published her first collection of poetry, For the Duration, in 2012; the present collection was in preparation at the time of her death, in Oak Park, Illinois, in 2020. Read More Read Less
