Kathleen McPikeKathy McPike was born and raised in the city of Chicago. At the age of 23, she joined to the army in hopes of learning a trade. There she became a diesel mechanic, and met many interesting people who shared their experiences with her. After leaving ative duty to start a family, she continued her military career in the army reserves. She was eventually hired as a diesel mechanic for a worldwide shipping company and worked her way up into management.
