Kathleen McGarryKathleen A. McGarry is a former teacher who left education to become a Human Factors Engineer. She received her Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology from The Catholic University of America. She has multiple conference proceedings, publications an presentations and is currently a Principal Human-Centered Design Engineer with The MITRE Corporation who has performed research focused on improving safety and efficiency in the National Airspace System (NAS), improving speech-to-text for the deaf and hard-of-hearing and has worked on multiple projects supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).
