Kathleen E HamiltonKathleen Erin Hamilton is a graduate of the University of British Columbia. She has written all her life starting with the school newspaper, then as a contributor to the corporate newsletter for Air Canada Vacations and the newsletter for the Royal Istitution of Cornwall.

She wrote artist's biographies, exhibition brochures and press releases when working as the personal assistant to the curator of Art and Exhibitions at the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro, England.

Based on accounts her maternal Grandmother told her as a child, With love, Emily, is a fictionalized version of her Grandmother's life on the prairies in the 1920s.

It is a story of an outwardly meek woman thrown into completely unknown circumstances who faces them with uncompromising doggedness and arises a strong, confident individual. It is a tale of part of her family history that she has always wanted to write about.

Kathleen is by profession an artist with works in public and private collections across Canada. With love, Emily is her first novel and the first volume
