Katherine PoserKatherine "Katie" Poser is a Professor for the School of Baccalaureate Nursing and is the coordinator of the RN Critical Care Nursing Program at St. Lawrence College. Her research interests relate to bridging the gap between theory and practice for iterprofessional health care providers through continuing education, humanization and empathy in critical care and pain management for specialized populations. Passionate about clinical practice, she works as a critical care nurse at Kingston Health Sciences in the post-anesthetic care unit. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Rehabilitation Science, area of research: determining the needs of interprofessional health care providers involved in post-operative pain management for patients on opioid agonist therapy.
