Kate AnolueKate Anolue served as Mayor of Enfield, England from 2012 to 2013. She is serving as Mayor of the same Ward again from 2019 to 2020, making her the first person from the black ethnic minority to be double Mayor. Kate Anolue worked as a midwife at Norh Middlesex Hospital, London for forty years. Her work in the community exposed her to the opportunity of working with vulnerable women and young people. This ignited her enduring passion to add value to others, which led to her interest in politics. She became a Councillor, which then led to her role as Deputy and then Mayor in 2012. She has founded the following charity organizations; Tender Care Health Initiatives & Forum For African, African-Caribbean And Asian Women In Politics (FAWP) and supports various charities and organization that promote women and youth empowerment.
