Katarzyna Anna KapitanKatarzyna Anna Kapitan is H.M. Queen Margarethe II Distinguished Research Fellow at the Museum of National History, Frederiksborg Castle, where she works on the reception of Old Norse literature in Danish historiography. Previously she worked at the rnamagnæan Institute at the University of Copenhagen where she conducted research and digital cataloguing of Nordic manuscripts. She holds a PhD degree from the same university, based on the dissertation Studies in the transmission history of Hrómundar saga Greipssonar. Her research interests center on Old Norse-Icelandic language and literature and include manuscript studies, digital scholarly editing, transmission history and textual criticism, as well as history of historiography.
