Kass FleisherH. Kassia (Kass) Fleisher (b. October 21, 1959, in Wilmington, DE, and raised in the Philadelphia, PA, metro area) is an American writer best known for her creative nonfiction and fiction. She holds degrees in English from Dickinson College (B.A., 191), University of North Dakota (M.A., 1989), and Binghamton University (Ph.D., 1993). She's the author of four books, numerous essays and reviews, and three award-winning screenplays (none of which have been produced to date), coauthored with her spouse, Joe Amato (poet).
