Karl LindholmThe Dean of Advising Emeritus, Karl Lindholm was a dean at Middlebury College for 35 years while also teaching in the American Studies Program. He served in a number of roles in student affairs, including Dean of Students and was a dean or faculty hed in all five of Middlebury's residential commons. As Assistant Professor of American Studies, Karl Lindholm's interests include the literature of baseball, the Negro leagues in particular, Vietnam War literature, and the regional culture of northern New England.
