Karl BeckKarl Beck, spent the first 35 years of his life moving from place to place, school to school and later job to job. After over twenty moves, 10 schools and 10 jobs the number of people he had met and talked to numbered in the thousands. During these ecounters certain people and stories worked their way into his imagination. The poems and images in this volume are the result. While some of the poems reflect the poets' own experiences and emotions, many are a retelling of other people's stories and feelings as expressed to the author over the years.
