Karen WinslowKaren S. Winslow (PhD, University of Washington) is Professor of Biblical Studies, Chair of the Biblical Studies Department, and Director of the Masters of Arts in Theological Studies at Azusa Pacific Seminary in Azusa, CA. Her research interests incude Biblical and Jewish Studies, Women in Judaism and Christianity, Science and Theology, and the Sociology of Religion. She wrote commentary on 1-2 Kings for the New Beacon Bible Commentary series (forthcoming). Her chapter, Recovering Redemption for Women: Feminist Exegesis in North American Evangelicalism, was published in Volume 2 of Feminist Interpretation of the Hebrew Bible in Retrospect edited by Susanne Scholz, Alan Hauser, and Rachel Magdalene (2014). Among her other publications are: Early Jewish and Christian Memories of Moses' Wives: Exogamist Marriage and Ethnic Identity (2005); Moses' Cushite Marriage: Torah, Artapanus, and Josephus, and Mixed Marriage in Torah Narratives, in Mixed Marriages, Intermarriage, and Group Identity in the Second Temple Period (2011).
